Today you see so many different kinds of facials on menus. We
have decided to offer just one. Our reason is that it limits us to
what we have written. We have found, in our experience, we will do
what ever is needed for your skin with or without a description. We
have one facial at one price. It includes a cleansing, steam, 2-3
different kinds of exfoliation (depending on what the skin needs),
extraction, massage, and mask.
The process is this . . . At the time of your service the
Aesthetician will assess your skin, discussing your habits, needs,
and wants. This will aid your Aesthetician in determining what
products your skin will need. Due to seasonal changes in the skin,
this process will be done at each visit for all of our monthly and
or repeat clients.

Eyelash Tint
Eyelash
tinting is a process wherein your eyelashes are dyed to make them
look darker. Eyelash tinting benefits people that are sensitive to
mascara, active in sports (especially swimming), people who just
have no time, and ideal for people who wear contacts because they
don’t have to suffer putting on mascara. The process is quick
(about 15 minutes) and uses a safe vegetable dye to tint. We offer
black (of course) and several shades of brown.
Eyelash Perm
Eyelash
perming entails permanently curling of your eyelashes. It is just
like a perm for the hair. It takes about 45 minutes and lasts about
6-9 weeks. It will enhance the eyes by making the lashes seem
darker and fuller, not to mention never using a curler again!
Followed with The Last Tint, you could go all swimming season long
without wearing mascara. |

Salt Glow
Our Salt Glow is
an exfoliating sea-salt treatment rich in trace minerals and
mixed with warm massage oil to exfoliate the top layers of
dead skin from the whole body (excluding your face). It
leaves your skin moist, glowing and satin-smooth. It will
help improve your circulation as the therapists uses
circular motions as part of the exfoliating and massage
treatment. Combined with a 30 minute massage makes for a
wonderful spa afternoon.

Manicure
You will never forget this manicure. We use a manual exfoliants termed
“gommage” to help exfoliate your dead skin. This treatment will make it
seem like your getting a double massage. You will then receive a hand
and lower arm massage.
Glycolic Manicure
An extension to the manicure which includes a glycolic acid peel of 35%
and is applied to the tops of hands and let to rest for approximately 5
minutes. Several of these treatments help reduce sun spots, freckles,
brown spots, and the thick dead layer of skin. This is the very area of
our body that will show age after we have tried so hard to cover it up
on our face. Ask about a specially priced package.

Spa Parties
You’ve done the restaurant, the movies, the coffee shop, and the
restaurant, again. Now it’s time to try something new. The SKIN Spa of
Powell is offering a new version of “Mom’s Night Out, Girls Night Out
or Ladies Night Out”. We call it a “Spa Party”. We will host the party
for your next “night out”. There are no charges to use our facility but
regular fees apply for the services chosen by the guest. The host will
have each of their guests’ bring an appetizer and a drink to share and
you’re off to having your next night out. An array of services will be
posted and your guests can choose while they are at the spa, anything
from brow waxes to manicures to eye facials. It’s quite simple to throw
together, simply call the spa, and choose a date. The spa even has
invites if you need them.
Skin Care Clinics
Give your daughter a new twist on her party. We offer a “Skin Care”
clinics. We’ve done birthday parties and Girl Scout troops. We will
teach your daughter and up to five of her friends how to wash and take
care of their skin. The cost is $20.00 per guest and the girls will
take home a lot of new knowledge and a little something to remember
their experience. |
